No More Barriers
How do you free yourself? In the deepest sense, you free yourself by finding yourself.
– Michael Singer
Early this morning as I ran the dogs around our property, the idea of no barriers popped up in my mind. Not so much barriers as in fences but in our minds eye. You know the things that hold us back from what we actually want to have happen in life.
As the season of Spring fully unfolds and the weather now allows for most all seeds to be sown outdoors, barriers of the cold are being removed. This is freeing to be sure and a bit overwhelming as I look at all my seed packets that need to be planted.
It can be important to take a breath, do morning practice each day, get fresh air, and remember to enjoy the task of planting new things, seed by seed, thought by thought.
This is why I like gardening in a variety of garden beds because they help me to see progress bed by bed without getting too overwhelmed with my passion for getting my fingers in the dirt. And in this week’s video Ed and I create a new really cool bed in our front garden. You can see more in today’s video above.
Barriers can help us contain ourselves and get somewhat organized and then…breaking free from such barriers can feel really good as well.
Abbi our youngest dog loves to chase rabbits and more often than not totally loses herself in the pursuit. And boy can she run, not seeing any barriers at all in her way.
Finding new places and ways to play can be uplifting to be sure. In fact, last week I finally bit the bullet and put myself on Substack. You can now find the Victory Letter there and more musings from me every week in between the Victory Letter.
You can subscribe for free at this point and if you are on Substack I would love it if you would stop by and say Hi. Here is the link.
And last but not least, if you love to get your fingers in the dirt a great sale of up to 50% off is happening with my friends at Epic Gardening and Botanical Interests on both garden beds and more. Guiding us right into Memorial Day weekend which is just a few quick days away.
Wishing you a week that allows you accept the barriers you need and say no more to the barriers that are holding you back.
