Broken is Beautiful
It isn't the absence of challenges that shapes a beautiful life—it is the quiet intention to keep creating beauty anyway.
One thing is for sure—life is not perfect.
A variety of challenges can easily get in our way, sometimes leaving us feeling as if we are failing or not getting the most out of the life we long for. The truth is, we are often on the brink of discovering a deeper beauty… one that simply asks us to dig a little deeper.
In this week's video, I share a few examples from the garden, which by now I'm sure you know is where I find some of my greatest inspiration.
Our intention when facing our current circumstances is often what leads us to the possibilities waiting just beyond them.
My wish for you this Monday morning is to embrace the word INTENTION, using this simple acronym as inspiration for the week ahead.
I – Inquiry: Be curious about all the possibilities around you.
N – Name: Name what you want and how you want to feel.
T – Tell: Tell your story in your own authentic way.
E – Engage: Engage with the people, places, and things you love.
N – Negotiate: Create win-win opportunities whenever possible.
T – Transfer: Transfer your energy toward peace, beauty, and hope.
I – Ignore: Ignore the negativity as much as possible.
O – Open: Open your heart to your creative gifts.
N – Never: Never give up on what matters most to you.
This week our family comes together to celebrate the marriage of my nephew Jack and my soon-to-be niece, Ali (though she already feels like family). Love that leads to the commitment of marriage is one of life's beautiful reminders that two hearts, joined with intention, can create something truly extraordinary.
Have a most awesome week.
Plant often and with Love!
