Something Brand New

Every season asks something different of us.

This week, life has whispered one simple invitation: begin again.

Jack and Ali on their wedding day

Happy Monday,

This morning, as I worked in the garden at the break of dawn (to avoid the heat to come), I found myself thinking about today's letter. The message that kept coming back was how something new in our lives can spark fresh energy, creativity, and hope for what is to come.

On Friday, I watched my nephew Jack exchange marriage vows with his new wife, Ali. There is something deeply inspiring about witnessing two people commit to their love. Watching one person say to another, I want to love you forever. While their love is not new, their commitment to one another marks the beginning of a beautiful new chapter.

Life and growth shift, just as the changing season transforms the garden. Some plants quietly fade while others bloom for the very first time. There seems to be a harmony in it all—a gentle reminder that every season has its purpose.

Sometimes we need to step outside our day-to-day routines to discover a fresh thought, a new insight, or unexpected inspiration. This week's video shares a tour through four beautiful Boulder gardens during the Boulder Garden Tour, sponsored by Garden to Table.

This week also marks a new beginning for me. On Wednesday, I'll be hosting the very first Grow With Me Live on my YouTube channel. Most Wednesdays, I'll be sharing conversations from here in my garden, and I'm excited to see where they lead. If you haven't yet subscribed, I'd love to have you join me so you'll be notified when I go live.

This week we'll be talking about Sweet Peas... and, knowing me, whatever else blossoms from the conversation. 🤓

As this week unfolds, my hope for you is that you'll notice something new. Maybe it's a new opportunity, a fresh perspective, an unexpected conversation, or simply seeing the familiar with new eyes.

Sometimes the greatest gift isn't a completely fresh start—it's discovering new possibilities within the life that's already growing around you.

Have an inspiring week ahead!

Plant often and with Love!
