Among the Trees
“I think that I shall never see
A poem lovely as a tree.”
—Joyce Kilmer
As I have shared many times in this letter, there are moments in life when unplugging allows us to plug back into what is most important. To find peace as we reconnect with the pieces of our inner selves that make us tick—without the noise of the world.
I have stepped out to be among the trees and to work on my book. Because of that, there is no video this week. Instead, a simple share of both the trees around me (above) and a poem from my upcoming book.
A Seed
I planted a seed,
Watched the little seed grow.
With wonder, I grew too,
Becoming one with the earth.
A seed becomes a seedling,
Finding the time,
Filling the void,
Becoming whole,
Seeing the world
As the seed becomes
What it was meant to be.
Have a great week ahead—and hug a tree if you can. It feels great.
Plant often and with Love!
