When Life Asks Us to Adjust
Sometimes life stings, shifting our attention, giving us new choices.
Happy August,
On Saturday I got my second yellow jacket sting in less than two weeks. The first one found my ankle as I walked through the front garden. This second one was a quick hit-and-run on my wrist while I was working in the back garden.
Needless to say, my hand and arm are still swollen, itchy, and reminding me that even in a place I love, I sometimes need to make adjustments.
This week's video is a peaceful walk through my garden. Yes, there are flowers blooming, tomatoes ripening and even some grapes in our mini vineyard. And yes, apparently a few yellow jackets too. I'd love for you to join me.
One thing I do appreciate is how remarkable our bodies are. Given the right care, they know how to heal. Perhaps our spirits aren't all that different.
Life has a way of asking us to adjust…to slow down, pay closer attention, choose a different path, or simply give ourselves a little more grace.
This week, may you notice what needs adjusting in your own life. Not because something has gone wrong, but because growth often asks us to move in a new direction.
Here's to healing, resilience, and finding our momentum one adjustment at a time.
Plant often and with Love!
