The Ta Da Effect

“Who am I as a mother if I am not living my passion.” – Kate David

In a world that makes you want to never listen to the “news”, living your purpose with passion makes the sun shine a whole lot brighter each day.

As I have shared on the pages of this Victory Letter for the past couple of years, I have been digging deeper into my 40 year passion with gardening in a whole new way. Using my love and experience in the coaching world to discover how to inspire others to open their hearts and minds to all that is waiting in the dirt of the garden.

In fact, my book I am writing is called Good Dirt and has been a beautiful and enlightening exploration of where the garden can take us. With spring heading our way sooner than later I hope that you discover something new in the garden, whether it’s your garden or someone else’s. The process can really ignite your creativity and imagination.

This past week Ed and I traveled to Seattle for Northwest Flower and Garden Show. It did our souls good not only to see the beauty of Seattle but to hang out with people who have dedicated their lives to the pursuit of inspiring others to get into their gardens.

One of those people was Kate David the Founder of Hello Garden, a garden designer, landscaper and plants woman (as she likes to call herself) who lives in the Seattle area.

Kate was one of many landscape designers that created a garden right there in the Seattle Convention Center complete with a running stream and greenhouse filled with so many wonderful goodies.

This week’s video is the conversation I had with Kate among the hustle and bustle of the show. A great reminder about getting your hands dirty so your garden, or whatever your passion is, can say hello back to you.

With that in mind, my question for you this week is what is on your TA DA list versus your To Do list? That item(s) that moves you closer to living your purpose out loud with passion.

What would it feel like to do even just one thing that lights you up this week?  To plant it, in order to tend to it, bringing you closer to celebrating it. Whatever your “it” happens to be.

Have a great week doing you to the best of your ability…and then some.

Plant often and with Love!
