Find the Calm

Find the Calm

We must cultivate our garden. – Voltaire

Happy Monday,

This Monday morning brings a definite shift in perspective. Things are swirling around us that don’t feel so good and…its Monday time to start the clock all over again. Hopefully to find calm along our way.

As I write to you this morning, I want to share that today is officially the 26th birthday of the Victory Letter. Seems so surreal that I have been writing this letter for all these years. And I hope as I come into your inbox, or for my new friends over on Substack, or the blog on our website, I hope it helps to bring you the peace of mind that I know so many of us are looking for this morning.

Somewhere along this writing journey you jumped in to hang with me for a few minutes on Monday morning. Some of you have been with me for years and some have just recently hopped on. Either way I just want you to know how much I value having you here and hope that I can help to inspire your journey in the week ahead.

This week’s video is a visit to my front yard which over the years has become a Zen Garden. Because I do so much gardening in the back garden, I wanted this one to be somewhat carefree. We took out our lawn and now it allows for some rock balancing, statues, rock gardens with flowers and hostas, fairies and whatever happens to find its way into this garden area. Including this little guy who happened to come along just as I started filming.

Having this experience at the entrance to our home brings in so much extra good energy. And we could all use a little extra Zen don’t you think?

Take a deep breath as you step into your week and … here we go… I mean here we grow, into the gardens we wish to cultivate in our lives either metaphorically or with rocks and dirt.

Lets Grow!
