Happy November!

Do you ever wake up Monday morning and feel like you might have been hit by a Mac Truck after a very full physically demanding weekend?

Well, that is me this morning my friend. But onward I go to grow, as there is much that I look forward to accomplishing in the week ahead.

After getting most of the garden tidied up and into bed for the winter last week more in the video above I needed to head indoors and take care of the clean-up from a major sewer line break we had here in our home.

Several weeks ago, we had a house full of workers actually jack hammering our basement floor in order to fix the pipe that had given way after it had served this house for 50 years! 

This of course meant removing everything from that room and yesterday cleaning up the incredible mess left behind in our entire basement after the new flooring went down.

Not only are we grateful that this mess is over with, but it gave me the opportunity to clean out the closets and cabinets in that room. Throwing Ed and I right into our goal this winter to do some major decluttering as we look at some pretty big changes or blossoming shall we say in our life ahead.

And as things go when you are headed in the right direction in life, this morning I pulled a Tarot Card that reminded me to “Make Space for Change.” So, I will see past the pain of my aching back and begin to go within in order to allow me to see clearly the further changes that need to be made.

Every time I come across todays quote from Anais Nin it makes me stop and reflect. Thinking about her life path sharing her belief that creativity and self-expression was the path to freedom.

While it takes hard work sometimes to get where we want to go. The results as you look around at what was accomplished makes it all worthwhile.
