Connecting Relationships

In the end, we will remember not the words of our enemies, but the silence of our friends. -Martin Luther King Jr.

As I look out my window this morning, the blossoms of the crab apple trees are spectacular. Igniting the hope that their blooms indicate.

What are the kindest words and/or actions that someone directed to you recently? What were the kindest words and/or actions that you spoke back to someone you care about?

They say that actions speak louder than words and we can’t forget that our words matter too.

This week I have for you another episode of our Puerto Rico adventure. What was so evident and heartwarming to me during this visit to the Plentitud farm was their kindness to each other and to the earth. This video is a tour of their garden area where we discovered a variety of plants. Some were new ones to me that I was so enamored with that they will be going in my garden this year.

Our deepest connections are those that can continuously fuel the fire of our heart. Whether a connection is how we connect with the earth or in our relationships with people we care most about.

There is also the element of keeping our creativity alive as we embrace our work and play with passion. When bonds are broken because of lack of attention or set back, is there a way to recover? I think so. How about you?

When in doubt, we can open our hearts a little wider.

Wishing you a week ahead that finds you connecting with kindness to the people, places and ways of life that matter most to you.
